I love colour and have a compulsion to infuse my life with it!

My degree background is in the History of Art which gave me a trained eye for balance in composition. 

 

I have knitted addictively from the age of 14.(This was in the punk era and way before it was cool!) I made an array of crazy multi-coloured jumpers in my uni years and beyond.  I have joined the knitted street art movement in 2010.  This involved a cluster of significant TV appearances and a documentary!

I love to knit and rag rug using recycled materials such as my husband's dodgy fleeces and kids' outgrown pyjamas and have ran a number of rag rugging workshops for children and adults.

 

I also draw, paint and love machine embroidery.  I even regularly paint my glasses-with nail varnish!
